GM names India's Dhivya Suryadevara as its 1st woman CFO

US' largest automaker General Motors (GM) on Wednesday named Indian Dhivya Suryadevara as its first female Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She will succeed Chuck Stevens, who is retiring after 40 years of service, on September 1. Suryadevara, currently Vice President of Corporate Finance, has an MBA from Harvard Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Chartered Accountant.
