GM uses codenames like 'Cheetah', 'Penguin' for cars

In a report on its driverless cars, General Motors revealed it uses codenames like Penguin, Cheetah and Iron Man for each self-driving car being tested. Chevrolet Bolts are named after animals, while Nissan Leafs are named after Marvel Comics characters. The codenames make it easier to identify the electric vehicles in the garage since all of them are white.
