Goa CM launches AI traffic management, promises to expand to 16 signals

Goa CM Pramod Sawant has launched the state's first artificial intelligence (AI)-based traffic management system at North Goa's Merces junction. The new system will monitor traffic movement and let traffic pass through signals accordingly. It can also detect emergency vehicles like ambulances and clear the route accordingly. The system will be expanded to 16 more locations, Sawant said.
