Goa may ban swimming in seas in dark, after drinking alcohol

The Goa Tourism Department has said it is planning to enact a law banning swimming in the sea post sunset and after the consumption of alcohol. This comes after at least three people drowned while swimming in the sea in the last one week. The incidents occurred after sunset, when the beaches were not manned by lifeguards, said sources.
