Goa minister claims threat to life from drug mafia

Goa Water Resources Minister Vinod Palyekar has claimed that there is a threat to his life from the drug mafia in the state. He said that he feared for his life since he had constantly targeted the drug lobby operating in Goa. The State Security Committee has sought a report from police’s Intelligence Branch on the matter.
