Goat, fruit test +ve for coronavirus in Tanzania; President questions kits

Coronavirus test kits used in Tanzania were dismissed as faulty by President John Magufuli after they returned positive results on samples taken from a goat and a fruit. Magufuli had instructed security forces to obtain several non-human samples and assign them human names and ages. The samples were submitted to laboratory, however, technicians were deliberately left unaware of their origins.
