Godman held for sexually assaulting minor over 'kundali' defect

A 17-year-old girl in Maharashtra's Latur has accused a self-styled godman of sexual assault after assuring that a kundali defect could be removed through a ritual. The girl got pregnant and later told her parents about the assault. Police registered an FIR under the BNS, POCSO Act and Maharashtra's anti-superstition law, and a court remanded the accused to police custody.
