Gojek Co-founder Nadiem Makarim quits as CEO to join Indonesia Cabinet

Indonesia-based ride-hailing and payments unicorn Gojek's Co-founder Nadiem Makarim on Monday said he has resigned from the CEO position to join Indonesian President Joko Widodo's Cabinet. "I have received a big honour to be able to join the Cabinet," Makarim told reporters. Makarim said his specific role would be announced by the President later in the week.
