Golan heights will remain Syrian territory: Prez al-Sharaa at UNGA

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa at the UN General Assembly said the "Golan Heights will remain Syrian territory", rejecting Israel's ongoing military occupation as "null and void " under UNSC Resolution 497. "Any attempts that violate our sovereignty...will be stopped," he said. The US and Colombia are the only countries which recognise Golan as Israeli territory.
