Gold and silver have hit their lowest levels since November last year, after peaking at all-time highs in international markets. Spot gold, which had surged to near $5,600/ounce (over ₹1.69 lakh/10 grams) in January, fell to below $4,000/ounce levels. Meanwhile, spot silver fell to $56/ounce levels (about ₹1.69 lakh/kg) after hitting $121/ounce (over ₹4 lakh/kg) in January.
