Gold bond investors to get up to 386% returns as RBI announces redemption price

RBI on Thursday announced the final redemption price of ₹14,901 per unit for Sovereign Gold Bond 2018-19 Series-I, which are due on Monday. The gold bonds were issued on May 4, 2018, at ₹3,114 per gram for offline buyers, and at ₹3,064 per gram for online buyers. This means that investors holding these gold bonds will gain up to 386%.
