Gold bond investors to see nearly 200% returns on premature redemption

RBI has announced a premature redemption price of ₹14,158 per unit for the Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) 2020-21 Series X, due on Saturday, and the SGB 2021-22 Series IV, due on Monday. Investors in Series X will see a gain of up to 180% over the issue price. Meanwhile, Series IV investors will see a gain of up to 197%.
