Gold crosses ₹85,000 mark per 10 grams for first time

Gold price jumped by ₹400 to hit an all-time high of ₹85,300 per 10 grams in Delhi on Monday, according to All India Sarafa Association. The precious metal of 99.9% purity settled at ₹84,900 per 10 grams on Saturday. Meanwhile, silver also rallied for the fifth consecutive session to jump by ₹300 to ₹96,000 per kg on Monday.
