Gold ETF inflow more than doubles in 1 month to ₹24,040 crore

Gold ETFs' inflows stood at ₹24,039 crore in January, a 106% month-on-month rise, amid uncertain market conditions. With this, Gold ETFs are almost at par with ₹24,028-crore equity-oriented scheme inflow in January. Increasing gold and silver prices led to gold and silver ETFs' high demand; however, equities remain the preferred asset, said Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC CEO A Balasubramanian.
