Gold prices in India ended lower on Friday as the country celebrated Dhanteras. IBJA data showed that gold prices fell by ₹2,677 to ₹1,41,452 per 10 grams, while silver prices also fell by ₹4,432, closing at ₹1,82,868 per kilogram. Despite the weak showing on Friday, gold and silver saw gains of ₹1,398 and ₹1,524, respectively, over the Dhanteras week.
