Gold jumps ₹1,400 to ₹79,300 per 10 grams, silver remains flat

Gold price jumped ₹1,400 to ₹79,300 per 10 grams on Thursday in the national capital, according to the All India Sarafa Association. Meanwhile, silver traded flat at ₹93,000 per kg. Spot gold also climbed to over a one-week high. This comes as elevated geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and Europe increased demand for gold, considered a safe-haven asset.
