Gold price falls to ₹78,660 after festive demand rally

Domestic gold price stood at ₹78,660 per 10 grams as of 9:30 am on Tuesday, according to the India Bullion Association. Ahead of the festive season, gold had risen to ₹81,500 on October 23 but it started declining from October 31, however, it has held over the ₹78,000 mark post the slip. Gold futures for December 5 stood at ₹78,400.
