Gold prices hit lifetime high of ₹77,667 per 10 grams in India

Gold prices in India hit record high of ₹77,667 per 10 grams on Friday, as per MCX, as upcoming festive season increased demand. The retail price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold spiked to ₹78,900 on Wednesday, PTI reported citing data shared by All India Sarafa Association. Meanwhile, international gold spot prices rose to $2,711.99 per ounce, according to Bloomberg.
