Gold prices see massive fall in India a day after Karwa Chauth

Gold prices in India recorded a massive fall on Friday, a day after the country celebrated Karwa Chauth and after the precious metal saw increased volatility over the week. Gold got cheaper by over ₹2,200 to hit ₹1,40,054/10 grams, IBJA data showed. Silver fell by over ₹9,100 on Friday and by over ₹13,000 in the week to end at ₹1,81,344/kilogram.
