Gold spot price jumps back after hitting two-week low
Spot gold rose 0.5% to $4,019.50 per ounce on Tuesday after hitting a two-week low earlier in the session. Spot silver also jumped 0.6% to $58 per ounce. The rebound came after gold tumbled nearly 3% in the previous session, marking its biggest one-day drop in over a month, as rising US-Iran tensions pushed energy prices higher.
