Gold worth ₹21 crore hidden in courier from Thailand seized in Delhi

Directorate of Revenue Intelligence has busted a trans-border gold smuggling syndicate and seized 15 kg of foreign-origin smuggled gold, valued at ₹21.40 crore, and arrested four persons. Crypto-currency was being used to transfer money across borders to finance the smuggling. According to officials, DRI officers intercepted consignment originating from Thailand at Courier Terminal in Delhi.
