Gold worth ₹13.9 lakh hidden between layers of blanket seized at Mangaluru airport

Customs officials at Mangaluru International Airport seized 293.620 grams of gold worth ₹13,88,823 from a male passenger. Sharing pictures of the gold hidden between layers of a blanket, the customs department said it was seized from a Kerala resident who was returning from Dubai. A case has been filed in connection to the seizure of the 24-carat gold.
