Golden era for our tech-savvy youth: Finance Minister Sitharaman

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said this will be "a golden era" for our "tech-savvy youth". Announcing a corpus of ₹1 lakh crore, she added this will encourage private sector to increase research and innovation significantly in sunrise domains. "A new scheme will be launched for strengthening deep-tech technologies for defence purposes and expediting 'atmanirbharta'," she further said.
