Goldman India CEO tells clients to fortify balance sheets amid COVID-19

Goldman Sachs India CEO is telling clients to secure their balance sheets to prevent disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic. "Currently, liquidity is the biggest theme among Indian businesses, and we are advising our clients to raise capital," Sonjoy Chatterjee said. COVID-19 is causing India firms to optimise and monetise themselves by identifying what is core and non-core, he added.
