Goldman Sachs asset management unit Chairman Sheila Patel to retire

Sheila Patel, Chairman of Goldman Sachs Group's $1.8 trillion asset management unit, is retiring from the division after nearly two decades at the firm. Patel, who is among Goldman's most senior women, will step down from the partnership and become an advisory director in 2021, CEO David Solomon said. Patel was named partner within three years of joining the firm.
