Goldman Sachs' Indian-origin consumer banking head Swati Bhatia quits

Indian-origin Swati Bhatia, the head of Goldman Sachs Group's direct-to-consumer unit Marcus, is stepping down from the role, according to an internal note seen by Reuters. She will retire from the partnership and become an advisory director, the note said. Bhatia, a former PayPal and Stripe executive, joined the bank in February 2021.
