Goldman Sachs Group on Tuesday announced David Solomon will be its next Chief Executive Officer after Lloyd Blankfein steps down from the post on September 30. Blankfein will also step down as Chairman at the end of the year and Solomon will take over that role beginning in 2019. Blankfein has been Chairman and CEO of the bank since 2006.
