Gomateshwara Express schedule change reportedly under plan

The Mangaluru-Bengaluru Gomateshwara Express schedule may be changed to accommodate goods train movement, according to reports. Passenger groups have opposed the proposal and suggested a morning departure from Mangaluru. Meanwhile, the Railway Board is reportedly considering extending the proposed Bengaluru-Mangaluru Vande Bharat service to Goa.
