Good riddance: Punjab Cong chief after Manpreet Badal quits party

After Manpreet Singh Badal resigned from the Congress and joined the BJP, Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Wednesday dubbed his resignation as "good riddance". "Manpreet Singh Badal is congenitally power hungry. He joined...[the Congress] knowing party was winning," Warring tweeted. "Instead of crying martyrdom, he should be apologising to Congress for betrayal," he said.
