Goods vehicles banned from Pune-Mumbai Expressway Link from Nov 1

All goods-carrying vehicles, including LCVs and hazardous material carriers, are barred from the Connecting Link on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway from November 1. Maharashtra traffic police issued the order on October 26 citing tunnel safety. Cars may travel at 100 kmph; buses at 80 kmph. Restricted vehicles must use the existing expressway alignment.
