Google, OpenAI staff sign petition opposing US military's AI use

Employees of Google and OpenAI have together signed a petition titled "We Will Not Be Divided", refusing US Department of War's current demands for permission to use AI models in military. "Hope our leaders will put aside...differences and stand together," petition read. US Pentagon threatened to remove Anthropic from its systems if the company doesn't allow its technology's unrestricted use.
