Google accidentally leaks its experimental AI assistant COSMO on Play Store, removes it later
Google accidentally published its experimental AI assistant app, COSMO, on Play Store before removing it within hours. Developed by Google Research, the 1.13 GB app runs on on-device Gemini Nano model and features proactive "Skills" such as deep research, calendar suggestions, document writing and conversation summaries. The premature listing is seen as accidental leak ahead of Google I/O 2026.
