Technology giant Google has acquired US-based Tenor, a GIF platform for Android, iOS, and desktop, the company announced on Tuesday. Tenor's GIF-searching functionality will be integrated into Google Images and Gboard, the company's virtual keyboard. However, Tenor will continue to operate as a separate brand and Google will invest in their technology, the company said in a statement.
