Google adds fact-check label to Google Images globally

Google announced it will add 'fact-check' label to Google Images search results, globally, that come from independent, authoritative sources on the web that meet Google's criteria. Users may see the label under the thumbnail image results. They will also see a summary of the fact check when they try to view an image result in a larger format.
