Google admits bug that can hack Android devices with 1 image

Google has acknowledged a bug that could allow a remote attacker using a specially crafted 'PNG' image file to run malicious codes on Android. The photo, when opened, provides 'privileged access' to run the codes. The bug reportedly affects devices running on the recent Android versions, Android 7.0 Nougat, Android 8.0 Oreo and Android 9.0 Pie.
