Google apologises for news alert containing N-word in BAFTA controversy coverage

Google has apologised for sending out news alerts containing the N-word after BAFTA awards controversy. "We've removed the offensive notification and are working to prevent this from happening again," a Google spokesperson said. Tourette syndrome campaigner John Davidson had shouted a racial slur at Michael B Jordan and Delroy Lindo. BAFTA said the syndrome causes involuntary verbal tics.
