Google, Apple stores must not onboard illegal, unsafe apps: Govt

Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, has asked Google Play Store and Apple's App Store to not onboard unsafe or illegal applications. "We are tracking…loan applications," he added, claiming that government will make a norm of allowing only permitted loan applications on the aforementioned stores. Government seeks to keep internet safe, he added.
