Google beats Apple after 7 years to become world's second most-valuable company

Google's parent company Alphabet has become the world's second most-valuable company after overtaking Apple for the first time since 2019. This comes as Alphabet's market value jumped to $3.964 trillion, about $132 billion more than Apple's $3.832 trillion market value. Alphabet shares have risen by over 4.5% since January 7, while Apple shares have declined 1.14% in the same period.
