Google chips send 1st-ever AI-generated message from space

Google said its data centre-class TPUs, launched into orbit earlier this month, sent their first AI-generated message from space. Prompted to write a haiku from a TPU's perspective, the space-based AI system wrote, "Blue marble below. Data streams in silent grace. Starlight feeds my core." The test was part of Project Suncatcher, Google's initiative to establish data centres in space.
