Google Co-founder Sergey Brin spends $102 million to avoid $13 billion wealth tax

Google Co-founder Sergey Brin has donated $102 million (₹982 crore) to date to oppose California's proposed billionaire wealth tax, Fortune reported. He donated the money to Building a Better California, a political advocacy group opposing the tax. Brin, whose net worth is nearly $260 billion, could owe about $13 billion (₹1.2 lakh crore) if the proposed tax comes into effect.
