Google copies Palantir's model, will hire forward-deployed techies

Tech giant Google announced plans to hire Forward-Deployed Engineers (FDEs) to help the company scale customer AI transformation. An FDE is a software engineer who embeds directly within a customer's team to implement, customise, and troubleshoot complex software or AI systems. The concept of FDE is tied very specifically to Palantir in their model of helping organisations in AI adoption.
