Google creating new chat app unifying Gmail, Hangouts: Report

Google is reportedly working on a business messaging app which will include many parts of G Suite including Gmail, Hangouts Chat, Hangouts Meet, and Google Drive. The new app adds to the list of previous chat apps created by Google - Gmail, Hangouts, Google+, Gchat - which have not performed. The app is currently being internally tested at Google.
