Google didn't promote me for being a White man: Ex-employee & Sequoia partner Maguire

Shaun Maguire, a partner on venture capital company Sequoia Capital's seed/early team, has claimed that Google didn't promote him for being a White man. "You're one of the highest performing people here but I can't promote you right now because I have a quota," he was told. Maguire worked at Google Ventures while working on his PhD from Caltech.
