Google ends free emergency connectivity on Pixel 2, 3 watches

Google will discontinue Safety Signal on LTE versions of the Pixel Watch 2 and Pixel Watch 3 from December 12, 2026. Emergency SOS, Fall Detection and Safety Check will remain available through supported connections, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or an active cellular plan. Existing users will receive advance notifications and a 30-day transition period before the change takes effect.
