Google error causes widespread internet outage in Japan

An error on Google's part earlier this week caused Internet outages in Japan for about an hour. "We set wrong information for the network and, as a result, problems occurred," a Google spokesperson said. The search giant further said that they modified the information to the correct one within eight minutes.
