Google faces outage affecting YouTube, Cloud services in US

Google on its Cloud Status Dashboard said it has resolved a "network congestion issue" in eastern US, affecting Google Cloud, G Suite and YouTube. "We will conduct an internal investigation of this issue and make appropriate improvements to our systems to help prevent or minimise future recurrence," the company said. The outage also reportedly affected Snapchat, which uses Google Cloud.
