Google fined ₹34,000 crore over 'illegal' Android strategy

The European Union has slapped a record €4.34-billion (over ₹34,000-crore) fine on Google for anticompetitive "illegal practices" with its Android operating system. The EU said the company used the software to unfairly expand its dominance over all other search engines. Google has been ordered to end the illegal conduct within 90 days or face additional penalties.
