Google hires Eli Lilly exec Ashkenazi as CFO, to replace Porat

Google-parent Alphabet has hired Eli Lilly's finance head Anat Ashkenazi as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The 51-year-old will leave the drug maker after over 23 years. She will effectively replace former Google CFO Ruth Porat who last year announced plans to step down. The 66-year-old Porat had taken over as Google CFO in 2015.
