Some Google Home Speaker owners have reported a bug causing their devices to download hundreds of gigabytes of data in the background, possibly due to failed firmware updates. One Reddit user reported data usage exceeding 200 GB daily. Google has acknowledged the issue and said a fix is rolling out. The problem is linked mainly to newer models.
