Google in talks with Ray-Ban maker to make AI glasses: Report

Google is reportedly in talks with Ray-Ban maker EssilorLuxottica to integrate its Gemini AI assistant in future smart glasses, The Verge reported. EssilorLuxottica already works with Mark Zuckerberg-led Meta to make Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. Meta is reportedly also looking to acquire about a 5% stake in EssilorLuxottica, which could be worth around $4.73 billion.
